The firm will debut new textures from its Decojet Eco PVC-free digital wallcovering media range at Fespa Digital 2016 in Amsterdam in March.
Nine textures in the range have been commercially available in the UK since September, while three new textures – Decoleather, Decosand and Decodrift – will be launched at the show, and then shown at Drupa in May.
Veika marketing specialist Vadim Timofejev said the Decojet wallcoverings have non-woven backing, while the hot embossed surface structure “appears particularly sharp and realistic and is robust and scratch resistant”.
Timofejev would not reveal pricing for the media range but said it is “middle-level”.
He said: “The main customers for the Decojet wallpaper media are wallcovering manufacturers who offer their clients small production batches with custom designs, printshops that work with interior designers, and advertising agencies.”
Veika, which has 200 staff and a turnover of around €20m (£14.5m), will also show its eco-solvent digital inks for wide-format print businesses printing on the Decojet digital wallpaper media at Fespa and Drupa.
The inks, which are specially developed for Epson DX4, DX5, DX6 and DX7 printheads, are fully compatible with Roland, Mimaki and Mutoh Eco inks by their chemical composition and colour palette. The Veika inks can be combined with OEM inks without additional washing steps and original profiles can be used.
Veika said its Decojet wallcoverings printed using its eco-solvent inks have been tested for and met a number of relevant standards to certify they are fire-resistant and non-harmful to people and the environment.
