The Vs3 series is specifically designed for high-quality applications and it is suitable for improved chemical drying on challenging substrates, which gives faster makereadies, increased productivity, reduced ink consumption and the ability to go straight through to post-press for finishing.
Ultrachem’s partnership with Van Son began late last year when it started stocking the Vs1 series of conventional sheetfed inks.
The Vs3 range is available from Ultrachem in 2.5kg tins, 2kg cartridges and 200kg drums.
Ultrachem director Janet Brinton said: “Following the positive launch of Vs1 conventional sheet fed inks at the end of last year this new addition of Vs3 to the Ultrachem sheetfed portfolio represents the continuation of our partnership with Van Son.
“We will be working with Van Son to further widen the VS portfolio this year with some innovative new products.”
Ultrachem, which supplies offset, heatset, coldset and flexo print businesses both in the UK and internationally, recently relocated to a new 2,044sqm site in Enfield to consolidate its operations.
The business has also recently launched Safe to Touch Print emulsion (water-based) coatings and started stocking Actega Colorchemie water-based inks.
Established in 1981, the firm has 70 staff and a turnover of around £14m. It specialises in the supply of water-based coatings, UV lacquers, UV inks, founts, washes and pre-press chemistry as well as solvent blending and blanket conversion.
