The new flexible Soft-Metallic material is available in nine colours and joins the joins the MagiCut family of cuttable Flex, Flock, Glitter, Reflective, Holographic and Foil transfer materials.

The 62-micron material has been in development for two years, according to TheMagicTouch managing director Jim Nicol, and offers easy cutting and weeding on plotter/cutters, has high elastic properties and is suitable for detailed designs on a wide range of clothing including sportswear, fashion, promotional and workwear as well as crafting applications.

Available in 500mm rolls, it is suitable for cotton, polyester and poly/cotton blends as well as performance fabrics that require that extra stretch flexibility from the transfer. Transfers are applied at medium pressure at 150°C for 10 seconds and peeled cold.

“This is the best ever metallic flex as it’s so soft, looks stunning, outstanding durability and low cost. Its just amazing now how many sign and graphics companies now offer garment and workwear decoration,” said Nicol.
