The five machines in the range have been redevloped with improved design and enhanced features intended to boost efficiency over previous models.
Nottingham-based TCS, which has 24 staff, is the sole UK supplier of the CCM Premier equipment, which it has sold for 24 years.
TCS sales manager Dean Stayne said: “The range was relaunched in January this year but we’ve kept it under wraps until now. Technology is moving forward and guillotines are changing shape and these new machines look absolutely fantastic.”
The range consists of the CCM78, CCM92, CCM115, CCM137 and CCM168. The machines have cutting widths ranging from 780mm to 1,680mm.
The revamped machines feature full-colour touchscreen controls, available in either 10in of 15 widths. Air side-tables are also standard, enabling improved B1 paper handling.
Other new features include improved cutting accuracy, double rail, linear guide, ball bearing single-driven back gauge, fully-enclosed rear guarding, improved bearing life and an enclosed knife change.
The CCM115 is priced at £34,950.
All of the machines, including the CCM115, CCM137 and CCM168, offer optional flow-line and paper handling systems that can increase production speeds by up to 30%.
The Premier Plus range also has an automatic knife function for repeat cutting, a deep clamp opening, which accepts more paper and therefore reduces overall cutting time, and infrared slimline light barriers. The safety has also been improved with the use of an optical cutting safety line.
“We have done just short of 800 CCM installations over the past 24 years. We have some firms that have two or three CCM machines installed,” said Stayne.
“We also refurbish old machines at our workshop in Nottingham and then put them back on the market and sell them secondhand.”
TCS customers include commercial printers, trade finishers, packaging firms and blue-chip companies.
