The IP2561PA and IP2562PA films, which are being launched this month, incorporate Spandex’s PerfectApply technology. They incorporate a thick film (100μm) for easy handling and can be used in environments including retail spaces, exhibition stands or offices.
Spandex UK and Europe marketing manager Gabi Parish said: “The new films offer ease of application, help ensure bubble-free installation and offer durability of up to three years due to the PerfectApply technology.
“The special technology means that the products can be easily applied to a high level of finish by anybody, regardless of their ability and experience. They are extremely repositionable during application and retain a high level of removability at the end of the product life cycle.”
She added: “Their cost-effectiveness, in conjunction with their easy-to-use properties, means that they are ideal for customers looking for highly printable products for short-term, advertising and/or promotional applications, without professional installation and/or merchandising costs.”
Both new films are compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, UV and latex print technologies. The company did not reveal pricing but Parish said the films “offer excellent value for money”.
Spandex has also just launched an online store and customer portal, with a view to migrating its customers online, while in May the company added new products for vehicle wrap and interior decoration applications from Avery Dennison, 3M and Orafol to its portfolio.
