Three new ink products will make their debut at the show: the 204 Series solvent inkjet inks, the 735 Bridge Series UV inkjet inks and the 2800 Series durable graphic screen ink.
All three inks form part of a wider portfolio that the US-based manufacturer will show at Fespa, being held at the Messe Munich over 14-17 May.
Nazdar said it offers formulations for “virtually every make” of wide-format printer, including HP, Mutoh, DGI, Canon and Agfa, and printhead technologies from Ricoh, Konica Minolta and more.
“Our message, as always, is ‘an ink that’s right for every job’,” said marketing communications director Jay Tharp. “We want printers to know that we have great inks for most speciality graphic printing applications.
“Our goal is to connect with as many printers and industry partners as we can during the show. Nazdar has exhibited at Fespa every year since 2005. It has always been an excellent event and industry partner.”
The 204 Series of solvent inkjet inks are an OEM designed as a colour-matched, chemically compatible alternative ink for the Roland TrueVis SG and VG series of printers which will make their show debut after being made commercially available at the end of April.
The 735 Bridge Series inks are now available and are designed for printers generating POP displays, durable graphics and banners where colour fidelity and adhesion are of high importance. Nazdar anticipated savings to users compared to original inks would clock in around 30% and the series has been tested on the Inca Onset S40i digital inkjet system.
Finally, the 2800 Series is billed as one of the first dual-cure UV/UV-LED inks formulated for the durable decal market, promising adhesion on vinyl and print-treated polyesters with four-year outdoor durability without overprint. The inks were developed as a response to Nazdar perceiving a shift in the market towards LED curing for durable graphics printing.
Nazdar will exhibit at Messe Munich across the four-day event from stand F50 in hall B5.
