The seven SRA3 sheet per minute machine handles stocks up to 350gsm and costs £2,799.
“The BC480 can cater for image shift, important when cutting cards from digital printers, and it offers a good range of preset and custom cutting sizes,” said product and marketing manager Terri Winstanley.
“It has been built with robust cutters and to a high specification, so superior to Chinese imports.”
The machine is supplied with one cutting cassette preset to produce 21-up standard sized business cards on an SRA3 sheet. Additional cassettes are available to cut 89mm, 90mm and 95mm wide cards for £349 each.
Winstanley added that Intec was working on developments in the ColorCut range to be launched at shows later this year, particularly the flatbed machines, and that the firm was considering additional business card cutters too based on a strong level of initial interest in the BC480.
The business has also just begun shipping two new additions to its ColorFlare family of lamination and foiling hybrid machines, the CF350 and CF750.
