Ideal for prototypes and production with a compact working area of 1,600x800mm according to the manufacturer, the system comes with four multi-function tools for all cutting and milling, and the intelligent Video Projection system for immediate sampling, as the shapes are projected directly onto the material, for immediate cutting and optimum material yield.
The device also features the patented dual camera, Seeker System Pro, which automatically identifies printed images and loads the corresponding cutting files ready for immediate cutting, without any operator intervention.
Launched this week at Viscom in Milan, the machine will be sold in the UK via Elitron’s distributor Atech and pricing will start from £50,000.
“Elitron has been driving the digital finishing innovation for over 10 years now. The first to launch cutting systems with two cutting heads and the first to launch dual camera vision technology,” said Elitron executive director Paolo Malatesta.
“Our product range encompasses cutting and automation systems, and now we have a real compact system to add to our range for compact sampling and production jobs. The neat footprint of Spark F makes this system ideal for sample making in design studios and production sites where space is an issue.”
Elitron demonstrated four new enhancements on its Kombo SDC+ multi-function cutting table at Fespa in Berlin in May, including a patented twin 45° cutting blade tool that can achieve a clean 90° cut in a single pass, halving V-cut production times.
This is also on show at the company’s stand at Viscom, along with a raft of other products.
