Available as of today (1 December), the cutter will replace Elitron’s Kombo TAV model. Despite the similar name, the Evolution has been given entirely new electrics, and boasts significant increases in speed and efficiency over its predecessor.
The new electronic control board, motion control system and electronics, Elitron said, have given the new machine a 35% increase in speed and 40% boost to efficiency, while cutting energy consumption by 30%.
The Evolution, to be shown at Drupa 2024, has likewise been designed for future integration with AI management processes.
The new machine will be distributed in the UK through Atech and Perfect Colours, with pricing dependent on the machine’s configuration and desired level of automation.
Several of the Evolution models have already been installed in the US and Europe.
Prices are available on request, Elitron said.
