The Belgium business management software specialist has developed a new tool on the app that links into its system.

Product director Christoph Krohn said: “Our customers in the large-format sector have people working externally, such as installers. With the app the installer can log the start and finish time of a job, and take a picture of the completed work. That feeds directly into our system, so the relevant person back at the factory can see immediately that it is done and share that with the customer if required. So everyone is happy!”

He said around half a dozen customers had already expressed an interest in multiple licenses for the app.

Dataline also signed up a new client at the show. Grafisch Bedrijf Goes of the Netherlands, which has large-format, digital and offset production facilities, is adding Multipress software to boost efficiency. Implementation will begin before the summer.
