Z-Advance Unique is the satin-finish stock, which is targeted at publishing and promotional applications including books, brochures, catalogues, higher-value direct mail and magazines. It is available in two weights 80/90gsm and 120/135gsm.
Z-Advance is a matt finish stock aimed at transactional and promotional applications available in weights from 60-200gsm.
Both are surface treated on both sides of the sheet to receive inkjet inks and are compatible with drop-on-demand pigment inks in Canon/Oce, HP, Impika, Kodak Versamark VL-series, Ricoh and Screen presses and Kodak’s Prosper presses and imprinting lines. For imprinting applications Z-Advance Unique is also suitable for use with offset printing.
Ziegler is one of several paper firms to launch glossier finish papers that are suitable for continuous feed inkjet, opening up higher value applications. Also on show at Innovationdays were products using Mitsubishi’s JetScript semi-glossy coated grade.
