The 11880, which was launched last year as the Epson Stylus Pro, now features a Xerox service and support agreement and is driven by a Caldera RIP.
Howard Witt, manager of wide-format at Xerox UK, said the machine represented a "continuing commitment to grow our wide-format range in areas requested by our customers".
The wide-format printer can print at speeds up to 35sqm an hour with a maximum substrate width of 123cm.
It can output at a resolution of 2,880x1,440dpi and uses Epson's UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta.
The new machine also incorporates Epson's Thin Film Piezo technology, designed to control the amount of ink delivered to the media.
The 11880 is one of a range of wide-format machines sold by Xerox that includes the Xerox 8254E and 8264E eco-solvent colour wide-format printers.
