OnMerge Images (screenshot pictured) is an add-in for Microsoft Word and allows users to customise each document with different photos and graphics.
"The product is targeting small runs or large runs with simple graphics," said an OnMerge spokesman. "Word is something that everybody knows and any office worker uses."
OnMerge is available from XChange and costs 45. It is distributed electronically with customers able to download the product once given a serial number. "It opens up a whole range of applications that were not available before," added the spokesman.
OnMerge is able to link image files on a user's hard disk or local network and can be linked onto the document by name. Each image is automatically resized after merging.
The product can be used for material including business cards, labels, photo ID badges and newsletters. It can work on Word 2002, XP or 2003 on Microsoft Windows. It supports image formats including JPEG, GIF and TIFF. Visit: www.xchangeuk.com or contact 020 7490 4455.
