Worker traps arm in machinery at Hobbs The Printers

A 19-year-old employee at Hobbs The Printers was hospitalised today following an incident at the Southampton-based printer's factory.

According to reports by the BBC, 15 firefighters and an ambulance attended the scene after the man's arm became trapped in a paper-folding machine.

Firefighters are understood to have worked with a company engineer to partially dismantle the machine before using an electric saw to cut through two rollers and free the man, who was sedated while he was being released and then taken to Southampton General Hospital with a suspected broken arm.

Hobbs was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
