The EcoCare scheme has been set up with the help of environmental consultant Kevin Bray and will provide a free survey and report to its customers, who in turn will be required to contribute 30% of the savings identified in the first two years.
Bray said: "Because every business has its own financial model, we let each customer decide what the criteria should be for determining the payback period.
"So, if a business decides it wants payback on its investment within two years, then our report will only identify actions that meet these criteria."
The survey will identify where energy is being wasted and where savings can be made, such as with equipment efficiency and management.
WasteCare chief executive Peter Hunt said: "Energy costs are at a record high and are likely to rise further, so reducing your energy consumption will automatically cut your carbon footprint and your fuel bills."
WasteCare is targeting a £25m turnover in 2008 and collects a wide array of waste materials.
The Garforth, Leeds-based company is part of the Silver Lining Group and employs 300 staff across the UK.
