The Kent-based company has now completed the installation and testing of the machine, its third flat bed, and, according to managing director Gary Wallace, it is already bringing in new work.
He said: "We have secured several contracts, reflecting the sheer perseverance and application across a proven work ethic from every individual within my company structure."
The investment will also lead to the creation of new jobs at WPG. It currently employs 15 staff, but Wallace said that he is looking to gradually increase this by up to eight new employees.
He added: "Job creation is something I am very proud of and, as we all know, the country is both reliant and screaming out for SMEs to reduce unemployment levels."
WPG's new machine will run alongside an existing Acuity, which was bought two years ago. Both machines boast print areas up to 2,500x1,300mm.
WPG had a turnover of £1.8m in 2009, but with the new machine in place it is targeting its first-ever £2m year, based on the first four months of 2010.
