The company went into administration with insolvency practitioner PKF on 7 August 2009.
Jon Newell, administrator for PKF, told PrintWeek: "The print business was sold to Paramount Print Group this afternoon.
"On taking over the company, Paramount has committed to employing 20 staff, however, the company plans to reemploy some staff that were made redundant when we were appointed. We don't know how quickly or when this will happen."
PKF had made around 40 of the companies 62 staff redundant and the business had all but ceased trading, save for completing work-in-progress.
Prior to its administration Qualitech had a turnover of around £6m.
Paramount Print Group managing director Geraint Williams was not available for comment at this time.
