According to documents filed on Companies House on 7 September, Martin Maloney and Anthony Milnes of Leonard Curtis were appointed liquidators on 23 August for the Ossett, West Yorkshire business, itself a pre-pack of Vision On Design, which folded in October last year.
According to the statement of affairs, Vision On Display owed around £720,000 to its creditors and staff when it ceased trading. It employed 27 members of staff who were all made redundant when the business closed its doors on 22 July.
It is understood that Vision On Display did not go into liquidation immediately when it closed because the directors were working on debt collection.
According to a source close to the situation, all equipment run by Vision On Display was refinanced and relocated to the premises of PG Display, the trading name of Ossett-based P&G Holdings, a company run by Vision On Display directors Paul Dunnill and Virginia Mehaffey.
PrintWeek understands around five former employees now work for PG Display.
Back in October 2018, Vision On Design was placed into administration due to a build-up of trade liabilities and its 52 employees were transferred in a pre-packaged connected party sale to Dunnill and Mehaffey.
According to the source, around half of the staff transferred were let go earlier this year.
Leonard Curtis has been approached for comment.
