The first 2pp Vision in Print news section will appear in next weeks PrintWeek (9 October) and will feature information and news on all of the printing industry forums activities.
PrintWeek editor in chief Jo Francis said the magazine was delighted to have been chosen by the forum as its medium for communicating with the industry. "Weve been supportive of the forum since it was first mooted, as we have always recognised the importance of improving this industrys performance and thus its perception," she said.
"Now that it is up and running we are happy to be able to leverage PrintWeeks unrivalled reach into the marketplace and to play a significant part in spreading the word on Vision in Print," she added.
Vision in Print chief executive Richard Gray said print could "improve its productivity and competitiveness in many ways such as adopting best practice from within the sector and other industries.
"Using a trade magazine as successful as PrintWeek will help us to communicate these messages to printers large and small," Gray added.
