Vertis appoints Thomas as VMT general manager

Vertis Europe has appointed Ruaraidh Thomas as general manager of Vertis Marketing Technology (VMT) in Soho, London.

For the past two and a half years, Thomas has been sales director of Vertis Direct Marketing Services in Leicester, which appointed former K2 sales and marketing director Richard Husband as managing director in July (PrintWeek, 31 July).

VMT offers marketing technology, such as SMS and e-mail, to its clients campaigns, and Thomas will develop its integration with the other divisions of Vertis.

It also offers in-depth data analysis working with marketing and transactional databases.
