The company, which is based near Barcelona, has been running the LX800 printer along with HP's latex inks and substrates to produce a range of display graphics for indoor and outdoor applications.
Vicente Verdu, sales manager at Verdúdigital, said investing during deteriorating market conditions could have been considered counter-intuitive but the benefits to the company's bottom line have outweighed the initial investment.
"We have gained new customers by achieving outstanding image quality while satisfying customer needs to cut costs," he added.
Verdúdigital is printing on HP photo-realistic Poster Paper for high quality images as well as directly on polyester fabrics. According to the company, its estimated average production is 1800sqm per set of inks.
A recent job for an international jeans brand involved the company printing and mounting 1200sqm in 10 days using the machine's dual-roll setup enabled Verdúdigital to load two 1374mm rolls and print on both side by side.
"Once you have used the printer in your business, you realise that you could never survive without it," added Verdu.
Elsewhere, paper producer Torraspapel has announced that its new CreatorUrban Backlight DPI papers are compatible with HP latex ink printers.
