UPDATED: Print's Burchill, Osborne and Miller in Queen's birthday honours list

Print finisher Terri Miller, former BPIF-Unite Partnership at Work chairman professor Frank Burchill and Charterhouse colour management specialist Colin Osborne have been recognised in the Queen's birthday honours.

Miller, who works in the finishing department at De La Rue Security Print and has been what is now Unite's safety representative at the site for 14 years, received an MBE for services to health and safety in print.

Unite assistant general secretary Tony Burke said he was "delighted" for Miller.

"Terri is an outstanding member of our union, one of the unsung heroes who works tirelessly on behalf of her work colleagues and her community," he said.

Colin Osborne is the founder of Orchid, the only UK male cancer charity to focus entirely on all three male-specific cancers, prostate, teticular and penile.

His MBO was awarded in recognition of services to healthcare.

Burchill, who is currently working in Tasmania, received an OBE for services to the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service.

BPIF corporate affairs director Andrew Brown said: "This is well-deserved recognition for all the hard work Frank has put into helping keep Britain's employers and unions on the road to common sense over so many years."

Last week, Pindar chairman Andrew Pindar picked up his OBE, for services to business and the community, at Buckingham Palace.
