Turners Creative in Dunstable has installed a fully specified six-colour Indigo TurboStream digital offset colour press to handle short-run rapid turnaround promotional jobs.
The press has already helped the firm produce 250 copies of a 50pp and a 32pp document, ordered at 5.45pm on a Friday night for delivery to Monaco by the following Tuesday.
Managing director David Turner said: Had it not been for the flexibility of the press, this would not have been achievable.
Turner said the TurboStream was the most versatile press for short-run print on the market, due to its ability to match most Pantone colours.
The TurboStream is configured with Indigos Swift Native Accelerated Personalisation (SNAP) software for personalised print.
Turner said his firm was seeing the need for more and more targeted short-print runs as the digital print market matures.
Indigo has appointed Andy Middleton as general manager of its worldwide distributor channels. He
has worked for Indigo in various roles, including general manager of Indigo Germany.
