The London-based firm has managed the union’s titles for the past 18 months. The contract will run for two years, with an option to roll over for a further year.
U, the 40pp quarterly, will be printed on 60gsm Steinbeis Charisma Silk and sent to Unison’s 1.3m members.
The 32pp monthly, InFocus, will be printed on 90gsm Corona White Offset and mailed to Unison’s 42,000 ‘activist’ members. The publications are printed on Lithoman presses in the UK, although TU Ink declined to name which printers it uses.
TU Ink print management partner Jeremy Littlestone said: “It shows Unison’s confidence in TU Ink and the high level of service they have come to expect.”
