Former reprographics account manager Tom Gent, who joined TPT three months ago, will head up the division, which will be based in London.
TPT Colour Products will offer equipment from suppliers including DuPont, Gretag, GMG and Epson, plus paper, ink, toners and film.
According to Gent, the division is aiming for sales of 750,000 to 1m in its first year of trading.
He said the division was a natural expansion for the firm, which also offers pre-press kit from the likes of Lscher, Dalim, Xinet and RealTimeImage.
We have a huge amount of expertise in this area, he added.
