"A fantastic opportunity"

Mixam and Indiegogo partner to power up projects with print-on-demand

Indiegogo users will receive special pricing on all of Mixam’s print products

Online printing platform Mixam has partnered with global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to enable its creators to print and sell their work using Mixam’s print-on-demand service, PrintLink.

A major benefit of the new partnership, which was launched yesterday (23 January), is the ability for creators to monetise their work without upfront costs or inventory management, and with Mixam handling everything from printing to distribution.

With PrintLink, creators can also extend their campaigns beyond the crowdfunding phase, allowing fans and backers to purchase prints long after the initial campaign ends.

Furthermore, Indiegogo users, who can create comic books, graphic novels, manga and more, will receive special pricing on all of Mixam’s print products.

Comic book writer and Indiegogo campaigner Mark Poulton hailed “the ease of use of the Mixam website to upload files, get estimates on price, and their quick turnaround”.

Mixam head of sales Tim Webster added: “This collaboration is a fantastic opportunity to meet the growing demand within the creator economy for flexible, high-quality printing.

“Integrating our print-on-demand service with Indiegogo makes it easier than ever for creators to sell products and give their projects added momentum.”

Mixam also recently teamed up with social cooking app Pepper to give home cooks an easy way to turn their recipes into physical cookbooks.

The Mixam platform includes a wide range of customisable print products, and includes a white label reseller option. The firm’s UK HQ is in Watford.
