The act plan to reprint new album logos on top of old, repurposed merchandise in a bid to reduce the fabric waste they are responsible for.
Frontman Matty Healy shared a video on Instagram of the revamped t-shirts, which were originally printed for a 2013 tour, and said: “We are not making new shirts for now. Unsustainable.
“This run is all old shirts (first album, early tours, etc) that we had kept and have reprinted as your NOACF [upcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form] shirts.”
While the reprinted merchandise will be available to buy, the band have also offered fans the opportunity to take their old band t-shirts to the Reading and Leeds festivals where they can be reprinted with the new album logo for free.
