The £10,000 investment is expected to pay for itself, according to the company, saving time, effort and chemistry use as well as showing improved uptime and productivity.
Managing director David Duhig said: "If you drive a TVR they recommend super rather than standard unleaded. It would be stupid to run a top-of-the-range car with cheap petrol and the same applies with a press.
"Good ancillaries and a good dampening solution ensure we continue to run at no less that 15,000sph on the XL 75, a 50% lift in productivity over our previous machine."
The system means the dampening solution only has to be changed about once every quarter compared with a weekly change on its companion Speedmaster SM74 machine.
It also helps ensure the resale value of the machine for the digital and litho company, which produces commercial print for its local London and national clients.
