The company demonstrated its range of violet CTP plates, including its VioStar N for newspapers and VioStar C for commercial and packaging printers, during the roadshow, which was held in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi.
Other platesetters featured included the VioStar HC 8, which offers a maximum plate size of 1080x850mm and can output up to 16 plates an hour in eight-up mode and 28 in two-up operation, along with the VioStar HP4.
TechNova also unveiled its alliance with UK pre-press firm, HighWater Designs, which deals in pre-media equipment and has sold around 1500 CTP devices already. TechNova will sell HighWater violet photopolymer platesetters in India in a bundle with Height Design processors.
Managing director and chairman of TechNova Pranav Parikh said: "TechNova is providing end-to-end solutions, which includes plates, inks, and platesetters. This has become a must for the Indian print industry, which is witnessing a very exciting growth period."
