The Swedish wide-format print business, which serves clients in retail, outdoor events and advertising throughout Scandinavia, is also on the verge of moving to a new, custom-built, 5,000sqm facility - twice the size of its current site.
Jonas Bergstrom, managing director of TB Screen, said: "The fact that we have outgrown our current space is indicative of the way TB Screen is developing.
"This relocation, together with our investment in innovative print technology like the HP Scitex FB7600, reflects our ambitions for the future and shows our customers that we have the capability to meet their changing print requirements."
TB Screen has also taken a Hostert Automatic Loader, which is aimed at high-volume print shops producing long repeating runs. "We anticipate the new loader contributing to the FB7600’s overall capability to enhance production workflow and enable us to shorten delivery times for our retail customers," said Bergstrom.
The HP Scitex FB7600 can print up to 95 beds an hour, equivalent to 500sqm/hr, in production mode and 55 beds an hour in POP mode on a variety of media up to 25mm thick.
TB Screen, which was founded in 1978 and has 28 employees, already runs four other HP large-format printers, including an HP Scitex LX850 and HP Scitex XP2750.
