Digital Activity Group chairman Thomas Opel said Stralfors, the Swedish-based supplier of inline unwinding and cutting systems, would join the likes of Oc, MAN Roland and UPM-Kymmene in the group.
Stralfors is a long-term strategic partner of Oc.
He said he could envisage a short-run binding specialist coming into the group at some stage, but there was no immediate time frame. What is essential is that we keep this group small but effective, he added.
Opel said the group would provide examples of variable digital printing and short-run digital printing, plus publishing and newspaper production.
