The move is a response to the growing number of UK printers using long-perfectors with inline sheeters.
A Reel Sheet! will aim to discuss and debate the technical implications raised by using reels of paper that have been originally manufactured for web prin-ting, which are then cut to be printed sheetfed.
The debate will look at the various issues raised by printers, paper producers, equipment manufacturers and publishers. Speakers will include representatives from Stora Enso, KBA and the Buxton Press, along with guests from the world of publishing.
The event will take place at 6pm on 12 September at Stationers' Hall in London. Tickets are priced 15.
