St Ives prints sports quiz title

St Ives Web has printed BBC Magazines one-off A Question of Sport.

The 132pp publication had a print run of 80,000 and text was printed at St Ives Caerphilly while the cover was produced at Roche. Repro was handled in-house by contract publisherMethod Communications.

The magazine was produced on the back of the programme's 35th anniversary and is based on rounds in the show and interviews with presenters and guests. It's priced at 3.95.

BBC Magazines has also launched a raft of new publications this year including food titles Olive, printed by Polestar Chantry (PrintWeek, 20 November), and Easy Food, printed by New Jarrold Printing (PrintWeek, 6 May).

The division also linked up with Vertis to print a gatefold cover as part of an advertising campaign for Ford in Top Gear magazine (PrintWeek, 14 October).
