The appointment, effective as of last month, sees the graphic materials and equipment supplier expand its portfolio of vehicle wrapping films.
STEK’s Dyno range of paint and light protection films guard paintwork against chips and abrasions.
The range features specialised wrappers to protect against particular types of environmental damage. For example, the hydrophobic film incorporates a special coating to repel water and mud, while the anti-acid film protects against daily ‘acids’ such as rain and insects.
Further products in the range offer carbon fibre and metallic finishes for added aesthetic appeal, and none of the STEK films require aftercare products such as car wax.
Spandex UK general manger Leon Watson said: “Paint protection is a rapidly growing business for many technical vehicle wrappers, but it demands high-performance products to meet customer expectations.
“Combining best-in-class clarity and durability, the STEK range of Dyno films is one of the most advanced products of its kind, so we’re proud to be the exclusive supplier of these films.”
Spandex has also just started offering the complete range of wrapping tools from Proseries, for which it is also the exclusive UK distributor.
