Directors of SLS Graphic Supplies have placed the business into administration with Moore Stephens Booth White to protect it from creditors.
Moore Stephens Booth White joint administrator David Elliot said: I can confirm that the business is in administration with us as a result of a directors petition. The business is a viable concern and were confident of a sale in a short timeframe.
The 30-year-old company, which was formerly known as Southern Litho Supplies, was advertised for sale in The Financial Times on 28 August. It has 30 employees and has its leasehold headquarters in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Elliot said that Moore Stephens Booth White had received some positive response from a number of interested parties.
In the year to 31 December 1999, SLS Graphic Supplies recorded a turnover of 3.67m, but made a pre-tax loss of 199,010.
The companys sister company Wavetown, based in Bristol, is unaffected by the administration.
