Shuttleworth's updated MIS allows for wide-format digital

Shuttleworth has announced the incorporation of wide and grand-format digital printing in the latest version of its eponymous management information system (MIS).

The MIS can calculate costs for all types of large and grand-format digital printing, including screen printing – based on the printed area – as well as machine speeds and dpi coverage for inkjet.

Shuttleworth joint managing director Paul Deane said: "We are constantly working on ways to help printers make more effective decisions about the way that they run, and indeed control, their business."

Shuttleworth's MIS can also be integrated with web-to-print software to automate job batching and raising, delivery note and box label production, as well as part of the overall documentation set.
