Led by Mooney, Shiraz will look to appoint resellers in Germany, France, Russia, Turkey and Eastern Europe in a bid to boost its sales and renewals.

Mooney previously worked at Software Imaging as OEM account manager. He said he was looking forward to building "a global network dedicated and committed to customer service and to helping all types of wide-format user realise their work on a grand scale".

Shiraz's software – RIP Server, Signature and Focus – were released in their latest incarnation in May this year and are available on Mac and PC platforms.
