Service Point, which has 44 centres across the UK, hopes the iGen3 will improve its digital production capacity.
The machine will be used to produce a range work for clients including Aberdeen City Council and companies in the oil industry. The press will be printing collateral, such as training and safety manuals, as well as product literature.
Managing director Joanne Holding said the investment was made for two reasons: "Firstly, it ensures our clients continue to receive the highest quality service, a service that is not constrained by bottlenecks in production."
She continued: "Secondly, [it's] our vote of confidence in our clients' ability to overcome current adverse trading conditions and in our continued ability to support them in this."
