The company was formed a year ago by managing director Malcolm McKenzie after he was made redundant by Muller Martini.
It takes in finishing equipment, but as well as repairing the machines, IMS also distributes for a number of conveyor manufacturers and according to McKenzie it is as good as buying new.
He said: "It has been a pretty good year and we have moved quite a lot of kit. We have been dealing with some big companies and I imagine we will have been a lot busier than a lot of people."
The company has also turned to the talents of former Muller Martini technician Wesley Dennehy, who is helping it offer a "platinum service". Customers can specify what they want and IMS handles machine reconfiguration, health and safety assessment, installation, CAD layout and training.
