Screen offers users punchless CTP option

Screen has come up with a new punchless version of its PlateRite 8800 CTP series, which gives the option for users to turn off the registration punch.

The feature, which is available as a factory option on the 8800E, 8800S and 8800Z models, has been specifically designed for plate production for web presses that do not require plates to have punch holes.

Screen said that the punchless option was the perfect option for the Komori System 35D, 25, 43 and 40 and the Goss M600D web offset presses.

The PlateRite 8800, which is Screen's flagship CTP range, is suited for companies with above average plate demands and is capable of imaging B1+ plates, as well as a range of smaller sizes.

The punchless option is available now.
