Screen has launched a new version of its Trueflow digital workflow software, which allows input of multiple jobs at the same time, the firm said.
Version 1.11 of the package offers faster RIP processing through a multi- parallel mode tasking facility. This enables operators to input several jobs in one go, said Screen.
Version 1.11 uses Microsoft Data Base Engine, a simpler version of SQL server 7.
The Trueflow software offers two new options. The first is an imposed outline PDF, providing a vector-based file of flats in a smaller file size that can be ripped by a PostScript 3 RIP.
The second is a TruePress output file, which is ready for direct imaging on the TruePress, which saves time and uses the rip-once, output-many concept.
