Sterling Finance, based in Gillingham and London, has installed a Dainippon Screen Trueflow digital workflow system.
Six months ago the 14m-turnover 130-employee company moved into a new 2,050m2 unit in Gillingham as part of its move into the B1 sector because its Shoreditch, London premises were not large enough.
Now both sites have the web-based PDF workflow system and are linked together. Digital input can be accepted in London then sent to Gillingham to output automatically on its Screen Tanto B1 imagesetter.
Sterling Finance man-aging director John McCormick said: "Across the two sites were combining commercial work and City work. It kills two birds with one stone. We can send files between the two."
The Gillingham site, which will also house Sterlings bindery, operates two B1 Heidelberg presses, a six- and a five-colour. The London facility has B2 litho and digital presses.
