The flatbed machine, which is capable of printing at speeds up to 70sqm an hour at a resolution of 300dpi or up to 6sqm an hour in photo quality detail at 1,500dpi, was recognised by the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI).
The printer picked up the accolade in the 'Output Device' category for "Rigid Substrate - UV Ink" output at the show which ran from October 15-18.
Brian Forsdike, president of Screen Europe, said the company is proud that the Truepress Jet2500UV "has been honoured as one of the digital imaging products that is helping the printing industry and enabling printers to succeed in the marketplace".
