It has also become "one of the first" envelope printers to achieve Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification.
The Leeds-based operation received the green seal of approval last month, capping more than a year of recycling commitments.
SCR production manager Shaun Cromack told printweek.com that having the FSC certification was important as it's "the way the market is going", and an "assurance we can pass on to our customers".
Site manager Mark Smith told printweek.com that as a printer, "you have to be responsible" and that recycling as much as possible was a way of doing this.
The 38-staff company recently invested in a Kodak Magnus 400 Quantum platesetter, which has minimised resources, said Smith.
He added: "We felt we should recycle as much as we possibly could, and to look, not only at waste paper, but other resources, such as metal plates, cardboard boxes and shrinkwrapping."
