Taylor Bloxham gains PEFC certification

Taylor Bloxham has kicked off 2008 by landing PEFC certification, its third environmental accolade.

The litho printer recently completed its first job on PEFC-certified stock by producing a large project for a major FTSE 100 company.

Taylor Bloxham environment officer Elizabeth Ashford told printweek.com that green issues are always "high on the agenda" and gaining the certification was both "client-driven" and the next logical step for the company.

She added that it's "important to offer our customers products from sustainable sources".

Taylor Bloxham achieved ISO 14001:2004 in 2001 as well as FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification in January 2006.

It is a member of the Print People Group (PPG), employs 179 people and expects to turn over approximately £21m this year.
