VisionInk is available as VisionInk Supreme for long-lasting outdoor applications or VisionInk Classic, which is suited to long runs on paper and vinyl substrates as well as short-term outdoor graphics.
Scitex Visions chief executive, Dov Ofer, claimed: "The concept of offering different quality inks at different prices [in the same range] has not been done before in the industry this is revolutionary. But both inks are designed to get the optimum performance from the machine."
The inks are available in CMYK plus light cyan and light magenta. The Classic range is priced at 24.55 ($35) per litre and the Supreme costs 38.58.
The range will be immediately available for Scitex Grandjet and XLjet systems, while just the Supreme range is available for the Indanit Novo and Pressjet systems for the time being.
However, Ofer said that the VisionInk Classic for the Novo and Pressjet should be available in the second half of the year.
