The XLjet+ is available in three printing widths 5m, 3.2m and 2.2m.
Features include Scitex Visions File Transformer software, which enables files from the Onyx PosterShop RIP to be delivered to the printer queue while it is in production. It can also switch between four-, six- and eight-colour printing.
Another new feature is its sample mode of printing, which is used for close-viewing applications where high-quality sharp text and graphics is paramount.
The XLjet+, which can produce 95m2 an hour, can print onto a range of substrates including flex, banner, canvas, mesh, Tyvek, textiles, paper and vinyl.
Scitex Vision vice president marketing Jean-Marc Blum said that the company had commenced commercial deliveries following the successful beta tests.
Compared with other high-end systems on the market the XLjet+ produces the best overall results with features that add up to significant operating savings and gains in productivity.
The Scitex Vision XLjet+ will be performing live on stand G41 in hall 6 at VISCOM, which runs until 9 September.
