Jean-Marc Blum, previously corporate vice president of marketing, has been made corporate vice president of strategic business for packaging and textiles.
Teams of engineers, sales and applications staff have been set up in the USA, Europe and Israel.
Scitex Vision Europe has appointed Ronen Zioni as sales director for packaging and displays, while for Scitex Vision Asia Pacific, Martin Wong has been made packaging marketing director.
Scitex Vision is tackling the packaging market with the two former Aprion machines the sheetfed Corjet and roll-to-roll Superjet and the Veejet for printing rigid substrates using UV-cured inks.
