They received their cheques for 2,500 from BPIF president Ken Iddon at a special event in central London last week.
BPIF deputy chief executive Cicely Brown described the winners as "outstanding and inspiring". "There is no doubt that these scholarships will enable these young people to make an even more impressive contribution to our industry in the medium term," she said.
The winners were:
Daniel Barlow, a print finisher working at his family's stationery business, Barlow aims to take the BPIF print management course at Loughborough.
David Dews of Speed Design & Print, who plans to use his award for sales promotion training.
Jennifer Haymes, studying for a BA in graphic design and illustration with a special interest in packaging, she plans to invest in a new A3 printer.
Ross McGill, an apprentice on the Glasgow Herald who aims to do an HNC in printing followed by a degree.
Michelle Orchard, a digital print co-ordinator at the Joint Reprographic Service in Swindon. Wants to improve workflow efficiency and will use her funds for a specialist training course in America.
John Toppon, a student on the BA Hons print media management programme at the LCC. He is undertaking a feasibility study on setting up a University Press at London's University of the Arts.
Joel Trinder, a PhD student at the University of Swansea, plans to use his award to further his ongoing study of digital printing systems.
