Bean, who was previously operations director of the company, replaced Stephen Bloomfield after his departure from the firm. His plans are unknown.
Bean said that his first focus would be to re-invigorate sales.
The firm provides a range of repro services covering packaging, catalogues and brochures. 70% of its 11m turnover comes from retail packaging covering any substrate, process or system. The remaining turnover comes from brochures and catalogues.
The firm is part of Canadian-based Envoy Communications Group, which also owns brand strategy and design firm Watt International.
